LDSW63. Great Western Railway Collett 'Large Prairie' 2-6-2 Tank Loco No. 5103. In plain GWR green livery with 'Great Western' in gold shaded red as used from the early 1920's up to circa 1934. This is from a Martin Finney brass kit built by Brian Hawkes, professionally painted, and fitted with a Maxxon motor, ABC type multi-stage gearbox, AGH (Alan Harris) steel wheels, compensation on the leading 2 driving axles, and excellent cab detail. Additionally fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 5103). The model is very lightly used. The prototype was into service from Swindon Works in November 1929 and was withdrawn from Pontypool Road in December 1960. RESERVED.
