LTS19. London & North Western Railway Whale "19 inch Goods" 4-6-0 and Tender No. 285. In lined LNWR black livery. This is an older used model kit or scratchbuilt in brass and fitted with a multi-stage gearbox with a Maxon or similar motor, Slaters wheels, compensated centre axle and excellent cab detail with crew. Additionally fitted with DCC and Sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 285). The model has had medium use. The prototype was one of a class of 170 locos built at Crewe between 1906 and 1909 as a goods or mixed traffic version of the 'Experiment' class with smaller wheels. No. 285 emerged from the works in December 1906, later becoming LMS No. 8700. It was withdrawn in September 1933. RESERVED.
