LDS046. LNER ex- Great Northern Railway Ivatt 'Atlantic' 4-4-2 Loco and Tender No. 4417. LNER Class C1. In lined LNER apple green post - 1929 livery. This is an older but lightly used model in brass, probably scratchbuilt, and fitted with a Mashima or similar motor, multi-stage gearbox, solid cast wheels and with very good cab detail. The motor/gearbox combination is slightly noisy. The prototype was into service from Doncaster Works in April 1906 as No. 1417, renumbered to No. 4417 by the LNER in 1924. It was withdrawn from New England (Peterborough) in April 1945 having spent its last 20 years there. RESERVED.
