LCMW10. LMS ex- Lancashire & Yorkshire Barton-Wright 0-6-2 Tank Loco No. 11617. In early LMS plain black livery, weathered. This is from a Warren Shephard brass kit and fitted with a Canon or similar motor, ABC multi-stage gearbox, compensated chassis, dummy inside motion, Slaters wheels and with very good cab detail and crew. Additionally fitted with DCC (address 1617). The loco is well built, painted and weathered and is well weighted for smooth running. The prototype was into service from Dubs & Co. in December 1882 as LYR No. 294, becoming LMS No. 11617 in 1924. It was withdrawn in December 1932. I have no allocation details and the shedplate on the model is difficult to read but it looks to be in the '26' series which in LMS days was Newton Heath (Manchester) and its subsidiaries. £650.
