CTS54. Pullman ‘K’ Type Third Class Parlour Car 'Car No. 75'. As running post-war with grey roof and steel sides. This was produced in Korea by F.C. Models for Golden Age Models. These highly detailed brass models were factory built in brass, are highly unlikely to be bettered, and have been unavailable for some time. Fitted with working interior lighting, highly detailed interior and underframe, opening doors and glass windows. It also has roller bearing axles fitted for smooth running, and seated passengers have been added. The model is supplied in its original box having been lightly used on a working layout. All the eight Pullmans being listed today are representative of 'Queen of Scots' cars if anyone wishes to purchase a rake. The prototype entered service in 1928 specifically for LNER East Coast services notably for 'The Queen of Scots' although 'Car No. 75' was noted on 'The West Riding Pullman' in late 1930. In 1939 Pullman services were withdrawn and it was repainted brown with Pullman fittings removed and served as an LNER ‘ordinary’ first class car until after the war. Following refurbishment it rejoined 'The Queen of Scots' service in 1948. It then transferred to the Southern Region in 1961 for 'The Bournemouth Belle' until withdrawal in 1967 when the service ended. It was then preserved as a restaurant adjoining a pub in Staffordshire. £550.
