LKB02. Southern Railway ex-LBSCR Marsh 'Atlantic' 4-4-2 and Tender No. 2424 'Beachy Head'. In lined Southern Railway malachite green livery. This is from a Gladiator brass kit and fitted with an ABC gearbox, Canon or similar motor, Slaters wheels and with very good cab detail and crew. There are extra pickups on the tender currently not connected (it runs fine from the loco pickups). One cylinder draincock is missing and some of the ballast weight inside the boiler is loose. Additionally fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound chip (address 2424). The model has had medium use. The prototype was into service from Brighton Works in September 1911 as LBSCR No. 2424 retaining that number in Southern Railway days thence becoming BR No. 32424. It was withdrawn from Brighton in April 1958. After a 20-year project the newly built replica No. 32424 'Beachy Head' has recently been launched into traffic at The Bluebell Railway. £995.
