LST09. LNER ex- North Eastern Railway Raven Class Q7 0-8-0 Loco and Tender No. 3472 (NER Class 'T3'). In LNER plain black livery. This is an older model scratchbuilt in brass and fitted with an unknown motor type, worm and wheel drive, solid cast wheels, compensation on the leading loco axle and good cab detail with driver. The model has had medium use and the motor/gearbox combination is a touch noisy. The prototype was into service from Darlington Works in April 1924 to Tyne Dock (so strictly speaking an LNER loco to a NER order). Originally as LNER No. 632 it was renumbered to No. 3472 in the 1946 renumbering scheme thence BR No. 63472. It was withdrawn from Tyne Dock in December 1962 having spent most of its life there. £595.
