LGS18. BR Peppercorn A1 Pacific 4-6-2 and Tender No. 60135 'Madge Wildfire'. In lined BR green with early crest and shedplate 52A Gateshead. Paired with a rivetted tender. This is from an Ace Products brass kit and fitted with a large Buhler type motor with multi-stage Ron Chaplin gearbox, Slaters wheels and very good cab detail. The model has had medium use and requires cab glazing. The prototype was into service from Darlington Works to Gateshead in November 1948. It stayed there until moving to Copley Hill (Leeds) in November 1960 then the short distance to Ardsley in April 1962 from where it was withdrawn that November.
