LDR07. LMS Stanier Streamlined 'Duchess' Pacific 4-6-2 and Tender No. 6241 'City of Edinburgh'. In LMS streamlined maroon/crimson lake livery. This is from a David Andrews kit built by Mike Williams with his plate on the underside. Fitted with a motor similar to a Buhler coupled to a multi-stage gearbox, Slaters wheels, a little bit of compensation on the leading 2 axles, extra pickups on the tender, and excellent cab detail. The model has had medium use. Note that the cab roof is loosely fixed so is detachable if required. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in April 1940 to Camden. It was de-streamlined in February 1947 and wirthdrawn from Liverpool Edge Hill as BR No. 46241 in September 1964. £850.
