LJN54. Great Western Railway 'Dean Goods' 0-6-0 Loco and Tender No. 2320. In GWR lined and panelled green livery with GWR scroll tender crest as used circa 1900 - 1906. This is factory built for Lee Marsh Models by SMT in Korea and is order No. 14 of 2018, the production run having sold out some time ago. Fitted with superb cab detail and working inside motion. Also fitted with DCC and sound using an ESU Loksound decoder (address 2320) but it is switchable to also run on DC. The model is supplied in its original box with instructions, unused accessories, plinth, and gloves and is very lightly used. The prototype from the first batch was into service from Swindon Works in November 1883 and was withdrawn in November 1944. However wartime withdrawals were unusual and the date suggests that it may have gone into War Department service and I am searching for confirmation of that (another alternative is that it may have been damaged in service). A type B4 boiler presumably with the Belpaire firebox had been fitted in January 1907. RESERVED.
