LBN02. Great Western Railway Collett Class '57xx' 0-6-0 Pannier Tank No. 5726. In heavily weathered GWR green livery with 'Great Western' in full as used from early 1920’s up to circa 1934. This is kitbuilt in brass from a Vulcan kit and fitted with a Portescap RG7 motor/gearbox, Slaters lathe-turned wheels, removable roof, and excellent cab detail with crew. Additionally fitted with DCC (no sound) using a Zimo chip, address 5726. The model was originally painted by Ian Rathbone and later refurbished and weathered by Martyn Welch based on photographic evidence of the prototype (his invoice for £300 is included). It has been lightly used. The prototype was into service from North British Locomotive Company (Glasgow) in January 1929 and was withdrawn from Oswestry in October 1959 having been there for its last six years. £595.
