LLB20. BR ex- LMS Fowler Unrebuilt 'Patriot' 4-6-0 and Tender No. 45511 'Isle of Man'. In lined BR green with late crest, weathered, and shedplate 21L (which I believe is wrongly cast and should be 24L Carnforth). This is a brass model by Sancheng for Tower Brass with all their usual refinements including compensated chassis and excellent cab detail. Professionally painted, weathered and finished by Tower Models. The model is lightly used and is supplied in its original box. It has crew fitted in the cab and coal in the tender. The prototype was into service from Crewe Works in September 1932 as LMS No. 5972, renumbered to No. 5511 in 1934 (and subsequently BR No. 45511 in 1948). It stayed in its original form and was never rebuilt to taper boilered form. It had many shed allocations (including Carnforth in late 1959 and early 1960) and was withdrawn from Carlisle Upperby in February 1961. RESERVED.
