CRHL02. Southern Railway/Early BR 3-Coach Corridor Royal Mail Post Office Set. In late Southern Railway green livery. These are from Westdale metal kits built and painted by Charlie King and comprising (1) Stowage van No. S4958 to Diagram 3196 (Eastleigh, 1939) (2) Sorting van No. S4920 to Diagram 3192 (Eastleigh, 1939) (3) Stowage van No. S4960 to Diagram 3196 (Eastleigh, 1939). They are fitted with Kadee couplings on the bogies. The models are lightly used and are supplied in their original Westdale boxes. The prototypes as labelled 'G R' here were in service during the reign of George VI, up to his death in 1952. They were regular performers on the 'Dorchester Mails' service. RESERVED.
