LST07. LNER ex- North Eastern Railway Raven Class B15 4-6-0 and Tender No. 1696 as a RESTORATION PROJECT. NER Class S2. In plain black LNER livery, handpainted. This is an older model scratchbuilt in brass with a motor similar to a Buhler, single stage gearbox, Slaters wheels and basic cab detail. The model has had medium use, is lacking in underframe detail and although it runs fine it has a slight side to side 'wobble' when running. The prototype was into service from Darlington Works in November 1912 to York, NER No. 820. It carried this number through LNER days until renumbered to No. 1696 in 1946. It was withdrawn from Hull Dairycoates in December 1947. SOLD.
